Books

These are the books that have changed everything for me. Please note that the list might change down the line, since I am continually reading more and more books, and only the top books will make it to the list. Feel free to contact me with a book title to see if I have read it and you would like my opinion on it.

1. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki

I have picked up the book after listening to some YouTube videos by Robert Kiyosaki. Best decision I have ever made. The book became my favorite. This is a must read, not only for entrepreneurs, but for anybody hoping to live a successful life. The book will definitely motivate you to reach new levels of success.

2. The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason

This is my second favorite and also a must read! I recommend it to my family and friends all the time. If you are interested in acquiring wealth, this book is definitely for you. It teaches you to pay yourself first and live within your means. If you have trouble saving or spend more than you earn this book will definitely improve your finances.

3. The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco

This is my third favorite, but it can easily become number one. The first two are needed for motivational purposes, but The Millionaire Fastlane teaches the truth. MJ DeMarco tells it the way it is, he does not sugar coat it. In fact, he is against some of the concepts of the other books. The concepts written in the book will change your mindset and set you on the right path to riches! 

4. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

This one is a classic! You might have to read it twice, but every time you will get more knowledge out of it. There have been more millionaires who have claimed this book made it happen than any other. A must read for successful business mindset.

5. How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie

This one is another classic! This will definitely teach you how to interact with people. It contains a lot of great advice that will serve you well for the rest of your life. It is a must read for everyone. It will definitely teach you how to solve situations with customer issues in business, but it will also help you with situations in your marriage or other aspects of life.

6. The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko

This book definitely surprised me. It wasn’t really what I was expecting but I loved it. You will learn a lot about how millionaires actually live. They are hardworking and frugal business people. Your next-door neighbor driving a luxury car might not be a millionaire; rather your neighbor driving an economy car might be one.

7. The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach

I like the concept of this book. It teaches you to pay yourself first, how to save, live below your means, and before you know it by the time you retire you are a millionaire. Title is a little misleading, because most of us would like to get there before retirement, but it definitely teaches you a lot. This book might be the reason why I will actually start my 401k. I did not really believe in it, but at the same time I don’t have that money saved that I could have from the past five years.

8. The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller Chairman, Dave Jenks, and Jay Papasan

First part of the book is motivational just like Rich Dad Poor Dad. If you believe it, you can do it. Your circle is very important as well as your health. In the second part it does give away good information on real estate investment. I have picked up this book because I have always believed real estate investment is the best investment you can make. If your beliefs are the same, this book will give you motivation and some tricks on real estate investment.

9. The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss

This book is a good read. It will definitely teach you how to live a more productive life. If you apply his suggestions you will accomplish so much more in a day. Outsourcing some of the jobs is an excellent idea, but when it comes to your identity information that is a no-no for me at least. In my opinion he got “lucky” (did the right work, at the right time) with his supplement and that made him rich, but the book will definitely teach you a ton of great information

10. The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau

I had no idea what to expect from this book. It is a good read. It gives different ideas on small startup businesses. Most important it teaches good business tactics. It also teaches you how to make money with your business, how to attract the right type of customers and so on. If you already have a business or you are starting one up you will soak up good information from this book.

11. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker

This book will definitely motivate you about money. You will attract money. I have not read the Secret but I am guessing the concept is the same, the law of attraction. “I have a millionaire mind.” In my opinion he also got “lucky” (did the right work, at the right time) with his exercise equipment and that made him rich. The book is a good read, and you will get something out of it.

Tried to keep the list to a Top 10 but I just could not. Every book is filled with knowledge of success.

A lot of people on Instagram told me how much they like the logo, and asked me what program I used to make it. If you were wondering about the same thing, here is the secret answer: Fiverr So many useful services that only cost you $5 bucks! That’s right, price of a Starbucks coffee. If you would like something more detailed or time consuming, of course it is going to cost you more. Otherwise just to start out with, skipping a Starbucks and it will get you a nice looking logo If you would like to try them, you could do so here.

Images

As you probably know you cannot just use any image from the web. For that reason we cannot give enough thanks to the most generous photographers at Unsplash. Almost all of these lovely images can be used for our purposes. If you end up using some of the images at least like the images, or you could even add the HTML code to your website to give credit. The Stocks also offer some free images, and images that you can purchase.

Photo editors

The images edited for the website I have used Fotor, a super fun and super easy to use photo editor site. For Instagram and Facebook I use the app by Canva, but you could also edit on their site. I just love their application. I can easily create stunning design with it. I love how you can design Instagram posts, Facebook covers, Facebook posts, Email headers, etc. and you don’t have to look around for the correct size for all of those. Some of the designs will cost $1, but if you really love that design you might as well just pay that 1 buck.

Plugins

Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode – if you have visited my website before it was launched this was the plugin to allow me to have a coming soon page. Also when I will be maintaining the site I will be using this plugin for that as well. Thanks to SeedProd!

Audiobooks

The secret of reading more books lies in the hand of audiobooks. How much time do you spend commuting to work? You could be spending that time wisely and listening to audiobooks. Audiobooks and Audible are great sources to accomplish this. Price wise there is not much difference between the two. If you are an Amazon lover go with Audible, or if you don’t like Amazon for some reason go with Audiobooks.
